Chrissy was able to go to the radiology consultation with David today. They are still waiting for authorization from the VA to get started.The MRI results show that there is internal bleeding in the arm. David says the arm feels like it is dying.
The plan is for David to receive 15 doses of radiation. They were told that radiation can kill localized Leukemia cells and they are hopeful it will slow things down. Once he starts treatment they should start to see the swelling go down within a week.
They are still going to work on trying to get David on a drug trial since the chemo treatments he has had in the past probably won't fight the cancer that has cropped up in his arm.
Friends from church watched the Zach and took and picked up the 3 older kids from school.
