Chrissy organized a meeting of family and friends to discuss the bone marrow transplant, everyone worked wonderfully to come up with a plan that would work for cover the 4 weeks time.

Two issues that we discussed that need more attention are:
• Fundraiser ideas
• Networking for ideas of places to stay following transplant
If anyone has any ideas of how money can be raised to help fund the cost that will be incurred (about $6,000) please let us know. Also, if you know of anyone or anyplace in the LA area that is no farther than 20 minutes from UCLA Medical Center about it at a reduced rate or free, we would love to hear about it.
One piece of disappointing news regarding the VA house is that David may have to have been deployed for over 12 months in order to be eligible, David was only deployed for 10 months. We still haven't given up hope.
