David Joseph Griffin
November 8, 1984 - June 12, 2015

LINCOLNTON, N.C. - David Joseph Griffin, 30, of Lincolnton received his reward and danced before his Father, Friday, June 12, 2015 at his home, with his beloved wife by his side.
Born November 8, 1984 in Orange County, Calif. to Joey Griffin of Placentia, Calif. and Midori Marie Debreau of S.C. David served in the US Army and was a former Deputy in Riverside, Calif.,
David, Beloved of God, son of Joey, served Yeshua with every ounce of his soul. He gave when it hurt, he loved when it was impossible, and he ran the race to the finish line. He served his country with pride, his community with joy, his family with humility. He supported Israel and felt called to move there one day. Therefore, a portion of his remains will be sent to Jerusalem and dispersed into the Jordan River.
He was preceded in death by his maternal Grandma Mo.
He leaves behind four beautiful seedlings, Ethan “Wisdom”, Anna “Beauty and Support” Titus “Tempered Steel”, Zachary “Prophecy” and his beloved wife Christine. As well as his parents Joey and Stacy Griffin of Calif.; Midori Marie Debreau, S.C.; grandparents Dutch and Marge Griffin, Ohio, William and Sara Debreau, S.C.; brother Joshua Griffin; sisters Angelina Griffin, Calif., Elena Wood, Ohio; nephew Jonathon Monter, Ohio; stepbrother Seth Houston, Calif.; stepsisters Kasey Houston, Calif., Kara Houston, Hawaii, Joelle Houston, Calif., and Sarah Houston, Calif.
David would be honored if instead of flowers, all gifts be made to Chosen People Ministries, 241 E. 51st Street, New York, NY 10022
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Covenant Bible Church in Lincolnton. Pastor Mike Devine will officiate. Military Honors will be performed during the service. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

Chrissy was able to talk to him for awhile on Google hangout.

As of yesterday, David has been unable to do simple movements and is asking almost constantly for help from the nurses. Simple as even pulling his blankets up around him.
