April 18, 2011 (Monday)

David did much better today, he had a much better appetite. Eggs, sausage & Toast for breakfast. Tacos for lunch and eggs, miso soup and rice for dinner. It was nice to see a smile on his face.

David said that the doctor said that the bacteria has been pinned down enough that they have reduced him to two antibiotics.

It will be 18 days till his next bone marrow aspiration to find out if they have been able to get him into remission again. If they were able to get him into remission they will move David into the Phase II chemo regimen before they send him on to another hospital for a bone marrow transplant.

Neighbors provided Chrissy dinner tonight. The meals help a great deal. If you've said, "How can I help?" We've provided a list of ways.... click link
