David started having chills today and a fever of 101 degrees for over 4 hours this afternoon. Chrissy called Dr. Sender who wants him admitted to the hospital with concern that he may have an infection and has prescribed a dose of antibiotics. Chrissy has taken him to the ER. So far he has had a chest x-ray and a bunch of blood drawn. He will be having an EKG and a CAT Scan so he also has to drink the "contrast" fluid in preparation for the CAT Scan. Since he is currently vomiting they have him on IV fluids and are giving him a does of Emend in hopes that it will help him hold down the contrast. Please keep him in your prayers.
