David is wearing a sling to immobilize the arm.  It has helped the swelling to go down.  He says his pain level with pain medication is a "9" once he takes his medication it goes down to a "6".  Of course David chose a knitted scarf that Chrissy made. It is softer yarn and feels better on the arm. She said his hand was puffier on Friday and since wearing it the swelling has gone down some.

Chrissy's good friends Allison arrived for a visit on Friday night and will stay until early Monday morning. They went to the Apple festival on Saturday with the kids. Allison has been a helpful with dishes, cleaning and good company.

Someone from the church called and told Chrissy to bring their ice chest to church on Sunday. They have 4 dinners to give to Chrissy for the week.

There were a few questions that came up after a previous post written that it might be helpful to clarify.

• The Spinal tap came out clean  - (Means no cancer showed up in the brain)
• The Bone Marrow Aspiration showed no Leukemia - (Means the cancer appears to not be throughout the rest of his body)
• The biopsy to his arm showed Leukemia cells in the fluid  - (Means the cancer is currently localized to David's arm)
