David had to be at the Chao Cancer Center today for a blood draw. I picked him up at 12 noon and he was sound asleep. Anna and Ethan were playing Playmobil's. Anna was so cute when I walked in the door she said, "Will you play with me"? Chrissy was pretty wiped out from Allergies.

When we got there David signed in at the Infusion Center. Karen, one of his favorite nurses was there, she is very quick and efficient.

Getting Blood Drawn

Karen mentioned that maybe the home nurse that is coming to manage David's Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) bag said that they might also be able to get do his blood draws and that perhaps David won't have to go to the Chao Center for them. That would be a GREAT benefit because of the extra work it takes to transport him down there. Please pray that they can work out those details. David would then only have to go down for his Chemo Treatments which are currently only once or twice a week.

I asked David if he was still trying to eat solid foods while he is on the TPN and he said yes. He says he still gets nauseous and it's nice to be on the food supplements.

"They shall still bear fruit in old age;
They shall be fresh and flourishing,
To declare that the LORD is upright,
He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him."
