Josh (David’s brother) sent the following
messages….
David woke up this morning feeling sick, headache nausea, stomach ache, etc.
Trying to get him some food. He also has some pain in his mouth; he thinks it
might be the GVH coming back. I took a look with a flashlight, and despite my
best efforts of looking and digging I couldn't find any gold, guess it’s only in
dad's mouth. On a more serious note his gums did look white (almost like his
teeth were showing through). But I ain't a doc or a dentist so don't take my
word for it. Say some more prayer.
Forgot to say the doc gave him a pain med, Dilapited (Dilaudid?
☺)
or something. Why can't they just say pain killer??
They just gave David something called Protonix for his stomach to help it not
produce so much acid.
Basically it’s a micro bot from transformers, and when
David wants him to start working in his stomach he has to say "PROTONIX,
MAXIMIZE!!!!!"
The boys (Joe, Josh & David) had a fun time pulling a prank on
the Nurses last night. They put a glow stick in the urinal and said that the
chemo had made David's urine glow. They all had a really good laugh.
