David took a bath at 10:00 am. Even though he doesn't have the energy to move the nurse assistant has to get him to move his body, the sheets have to be changed, he needs to have his body washed in antibiotic solution and his nurse changed his IV dressing and replaced the suction device. The risk of infection his high with his white blood cell count so low.

The picture of the meds I posted earlier today are all supposed to be taken orally! How is he supposed to get all that down his throat? When the doctors arrived for their rounds we found out the two syringes of steroids can cause "Visual Hallucinations" in the IV form so taking them orally is better. David actually said that aiming the syringes and shooting the fluid down his throat was easier than swallowing. The doctors were also able to prescribe 2 of the pills as IV injections and David didn't have to take them orally. One pill left to take.
He used the syringe technique to then get some water down his throat, he said it helped.
The doctors really encouraged David to get up and move around, so at 2:00 pm David walked one loop around the unit and then crawled back into bed exhausted.
