Today was a wonderful day of watching the "brotherhood" of the Riverside Sheriff's come together for the " David Griffin Charity Golf Tournament" at the Menifee Lakes Country Club. 120 golfers showed up this morning to play in the tournament in blistering 100 + degree weather.

We arrived around noon to meet team members that helped in organizing and running the event.

Trophies that were presented |
A wedding had been booked at the Country Club and rooms were setup with linens, water glasses & napkins. However, the deposit was never received by the country club and they canceled the reception. The golf course was kind enough to let us use the facility to eat lunch in the air conditioned country club for lunch, raffle prizes and trophy presentations. It was very nice.

The donations from vendors for raffle gifts (Monster, Nike, Starbucks, Target, and the list goes on and on) was amazing. |

I'm sure I've missed may names of people to thank and many generous vendors who made donations, I was overwhelmed by the wonderful gifts and support that David and Chrissy and the kids received today. Thank you!
