David was informed that the VA has declined his request for benefits. They filed a claim a year ago and are very disappointed. Dr. Sender had even written a letter on David’s behalf sharing that it was highly likely that David’s Leukemia was a result of the toxic chemicals that David was exposed to while deployed in Iraq.

David will end up having 5 spinal taps this month. It’s not the discomfort of the spinal tap he doesn’t like, it’s the headache he gets from the loss of spinal fluid that he dreads.

One of the neighbors from the street that David & Chrissy just moved to came over and cleaned their house for 2 hours.

The kids are missing David a great deal. Skype is a way for them to communicate with him when he’s in the hospital but the older laptop David is using "lags" a great deal. If anyone has a laptop that David can borrow that is a little more up-to-date while he is in the hospital, please let us know.

David has a good appetite still which we are very grateful for. David's weight was 146 lbs (on a non-digital scale).

David’s Sister, Angel was able to visit him today
