David had his port-a-cath removed today. It was a surgical procedure with localized anesthesia. His shoulder was pretty sore afterward. The bump that the port-a-cath creates on around his collar bone would make it painful to wear his body armor that he needs to wear for his job when he goes back to regular duty in a couple of months.

David said,
My arm is doing "ok", it really is my right chest that is in much pain; if I move my arm it pulls my skin on my chest and creates pain.
