August 20, 2010 (Fri.)

Dr. Sender discharged David from the hospital this afternoon. Hopefully he'll be able to get a good night sleep with not interruptions. Between housekeeping coming in the empty trash and nurses taking blood pressure and temperatures he was very frustrated.

A friend named Angela was very generous to watch the kids today while Chrissy brought David home and Jody was kind enough to bring dinner.

Chrissy has been working for a while on a video and shared it with me. It brought tears to my eyes.

"Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food,
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold
And there be no herd in the stalls -
YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD,
I WILL JOY IN THE GOD OF MY SALVATION.
The LORD God is my strength,
He will make my feet like deer's feet,
and He will make me walk on my high hills.
