This morning Joe took David breakfast at the hospital. David prefers sleeping on the sofa in his room over his hospital bed. Joe fed David most of his breakfast so he can stay laying flat. He said he had a headache yesterday but not today. When he stands up his neck starts to hurt.

Instead of giving David the Appetite Enhancement medication, they gave him a rather new drug called "EMEND" which is an anti-nausea medication. It has really helped him feel better, he's been able to eat everything without throwing up. He said he felt tired and sick, but no nausea. The drug should last in his system for 5 days. It's only something that they want to give him while he is in the hospital, not when he is at home.

His oncologist, Dr. Sender got back from Chicago and still says that  he doesn't want David to miss any of his chemo treatments or fall behind schedule again. He will be back on schedule again on Aug. 10th. A spinal tap is planned again this next week and 4 more days of chemo.  He had a dose today, but I can't recall the name of the chemo.

"The Spirit can make life, Sheer muscle and willpower don't make anything happen.
Every word I've spoken to you is a Spirit-word, and so it is life-making."
