David - Feb. 5, 2010

The results of the second Spinal tap came back today. David has only 1% Leukemia in the brain. The doctor said that this amount can be treated with an additional shot of Chemo when performing the spinal taps.

Our original scare had been that David was going to need a surgery to insert a catheter into the brain so that they could put Chemo on the brain. Praise the Lord that David doesn't have to have the surgery!

One of the side effects that David started suffering from today is a sore throat. He is still suffering from the nausea.

An additional praise report is that the doctor said that his platelets levels are rising, which they said is very unusual! Thanks for your prayers.

Chrissy wanted to say thanks to all of you for your gifts.
* For your financial contributions
* The Shepherd Staff given by Rich Buhler and the homemade wooden cross made by a friend.
* Many of the boxes got wet today from the rain in the back of the truck. Thanks to a generous friend who went out and purchased a large supply of boxes, we can still pack their household stuff up tomorrow.
