They took David for a CT Scan yesterday to check for a sinus infection. They put him on and IV for his dehydration and gave him potassium, blood & have him on antibiotics for his fever. He said last night he was already feeling better.

Joe took him breakfast this morning and Chrissy drove out for a short visit and brought him his laptop and some supplies. He hadn't packed anything since he didn't know he was going to be admitted.

He asked for rice and Teriyaki beef tonight. Joe said he looked much better today than yesterday.

Dr. Fruehauf came in for a visit and said that David's white blood cell count (WBC) is low at .1 and his platelets are at 26. He also said that David's blood pressure is low and that his heart rate was fast.

David's voice sounded hoarse today, like he had a cold. He is having a hard time opening his right eye and says his face feels like it's been hit 30 times, his face is tender and says it's a sinus infection. Dr. Fruehauf was concerned at first that the shingles could have moved up to David's face but after doing some evaluation tests he thinks it's more likely the sinuses. The other idea would be to do a panoramic x-ray of his teeth to look for an tooth abscess.
