This morning we took David breakfast at 6:00 am and lunch at noon. Brian and Eileen Rowe (long time family friends) brought him dinner tonight.

His stomach is sore today, he thinks it is from the Peg Asparaginase (chemo) he received on Saturday. He says he has a "tight abdomen", is nauseated and tired. He also has a very tender mouth.

David is receiving "Cryoprecipitate" to help his blood clot. The doctors said his platlet count was at 11 and they didn't want it to get below 10. It is now at 38 (normal is 150-450). They don't want to give him too much cause the cancer cells thrive on it.

More bruising on the back of David's arm
David is currently Neutropenic, his white blood cell is at 500, the normal range is 1,500 to 8,000. Meaning he should be watching what he eats and not be around people with any illnesses.

His blood sugar level at lunch time was 215 and the normal range is 70 to 100. He continues to get insulin shots several times a day.

He is scheduled for another spinal tap this Saturday.

We picked up fresh Kangen water for David this morning. David hopes to get his own Kangen water machine once he gets home from the hospital to help maintain his health for years to come. They are rather costly but he feels the special water helps him a great deal.

Chrissy shared that a neighbor is applying to RSA (Riverside Sheriff's Association) to try to get money for a hotel for Chrissy and the kids to stay at closer to David when he has to have his bone marrow transplant. David will have to be in a hospital in LA for a minimum of 4 - 6 weeks and it would help if Chrissy could be closer to him.

David's Grandmother started knitting a full size blue afghan for him on Wednesday, April 6th. She wrote:
"started David's prayer afghan today - I am playing Christian music while I crochet and pray - I desire to do this thru his whole afghan - this will not be done in a day - you know it will take a while..."
